Acceptance

By creating an account and using The Rishta App ("the platform"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement. You may only hold one account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide false information on your profile.
• Harass, intimidate, or disrespect other members.
• Use the platform for any purpose other than seeking a marriage partner.
• Attempt to circumvent any access-control mechanism, including photograph-sharing restrictions.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically retrieve content from the platform.
• Share or reproduce other members' photographs or personal details outside the platform.

Profile review and moderation

All profiles are reviewed by our team before going live. We reserve the right to decline, remove, or suspend any profile that does not meet our standards, without being required to give a reason. Accounts that are found to have violated these terms may be permanently blocked.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period (monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually) and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for the unused portion of a period, except where required by applicable law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is." We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular search or introduction will lead to a marriage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
